This is one of the 'Iron Horses' series of folding pocket knives each featuring different classic engines. This knife is made from polished stainless steel and inlays on each side of the knife feature famous Iron horses. The features of this knife include:

- #1444 Engine inlay on handle.
- Iron horses America decal (see picture)
- Safety Lockout feature
The #1444 is an example of an Atlantic Wheel Arrangment which would typically have pulled short trains at high speeds. They were almost always utilised in Passenger services. This engine is the Santa Fe 1444 and is a good example of the 4-4-2 wheel arrangement though it was unusual in the American West.
