Principal and founder of Lisardco - a consulting firm providing services in the area of executive development - Isabella has over twenty five years of experience coaching executives of Fortune 500 and smaller corporations in a variety of industries. She is considered one of the top consultants in her field.
Co-founder, co-owner and Board member (from 1984 to 2001) of ElectroMagnetic Instruments, Inc., a high technology company that designs and manufactures instrumentation for geophysical exploration and research. A key crafter of the company’s strategy, in 2001 Isabella successfully negotiated the sale of ElectroMagnetic Instruments, Inc., to a well-known global corporation.
Co-founder of Barnes & Conti Associates, Inc., a management consulting company that specializes in training and development for middle managers in the areas of leadership, negotiation, and the management of change and innovation. After selling her shares in 1992, she remained on its Board for several years, and later served on the company’s Advisory Board.
A full-time, tenure-track professor at Saint Mary’s College of California from 1978 to 1983, Isabella has been invited to give lectures and hold university level seminars at a variety of institutions. She has presented papers at several conferences, including the National Organization Development Network, and was invited to address the prestigious Gordon Conference in Nuclear Chemistry.
Isabella holds a Doctorate in Jurisprudence from the University of Rome, Italy, with specialization in business law, and a Ph.D. in Psychology from the University of California Berkeley, with specialization in creativity and effective functioning, personality assessment and group dynamics. She is a licensed psychologist in the state of California and a member of the American Psychological Association.
Co-author of From Power to Partnership, HarperSanFrancisco, 1993, Isabella has contributed chapters to multi-author books and several articles to professional journals on creativity and business.
Isabella is fluent in English, Italian, French and Spanish.
