Principal and founder
Lisardco

Principal and founder of Lisardco - a consulting firm providing services in the area of executive development - Isabella has over twenty five years of experience coaching executives of Fortune 500 and smaller corporations in a variety of industries. She is considered one of the top consultants in her field.

Co-founder, co-owner and Board member (from 1984 to 2001) of ElectroMagnetic Instruments, Inc., a high technology company that designs and manufactures instrumentation for geophysical exploration and research. A key crafter of the company’s strategy, in 2001 Isabella successfully negotiated the sale of ElectroMagnetic Instruments, Inc., to a well-known global corporation.

Co-founder of Barnes & Conti Associates, Inc., a management consulting company that specializes in training and development for middle managers in the areas of leadership, negotiation, and the management of change and innovation. After selling her shares in 1992, she remained on its Board for several years, and later served on the company’s Advisory Board.

A full-time, tenure-track professor at Saint Mary’s College of California from 1978 to 1983, Isabella has been invited to give lectures and hold university level seminars at a variety of institutions. She has presented papers at several conferences, including the National Organization Development Network, and was invited to address the prestigious Gordon Conference in Nuclear Chemistry.

Isabella holds a Doctorate in Jurisprudence from the University of Rome, Italy, with specialization in business law, and a Ph.D. in Psychology from the University of California Berkeley, with specialization in creativity and effective functioning, personality assessment and group dynamics. She is a licensed psychologist in the state of California and a member of the American Psychological Association.

Co-author of From Power to Partnership, HarperSanFrancisco, 1993, Isabella has contributed chapters to multi-author books and several articles to professional journals on creativity and business.

Isabella is fluent in English, Italian, French and Spanish.

DETAILS ABOUT THIS AUCTION

In this auction you are bidding on a one-on-one Full Day Coaching Session with Isabella Conti.  The winner will spend a day with a most experienced executive development consultant and coach to:

 

-          Review your career history, accomplishments and aspirations.  

-          Identify key strengths, understand your weaknesses and limitations and forge tools to overcome them.

-          Refresh your purpose and prioritize your goals.

-          Create a plan to lead you from your present to the future you seek.

 

The winner can select a meeting location in the Bay Area, or between Sacramento and Monterey.   Isabella’s office in El Cerrito (CA) is also an option.  If the winner is willing to cover the cost of airfare, Isabella will travel to Los Angeles (CA), Portland (OR), or San Diego (CA). 

 

Smoking is not permitted during the session.

 

The session should be scheduled before December 1, 2008, and will be based around Isabella’s availability. 

 

This auction is being held in conjunction with the Anita Borg Institute Women of Vision Awards banquet on May 8, 2008, but you do not need to be present at this event to win.

 

The winner must participate in a brief phone meeting with ABI staff before the lunch meeting can be scheduled.

 

Once payment has been received, the winners’ contact information will be sent to Isabella for scheduling purposes.

 

All funds raised through this auction will be donated to the Anita Borg Institute.
