"Island Palms" original hand printed zinc plate aquatint photo transfer etching by award winning Pittsburgh printmaker Thomas J. Norulak. Image depicts a scene on the south shore of the Big Island of Hawai'i. Plate size is approximately 4" x 5"; printed in vine black ink on white 100% rag etching paper, print is signed by the artist in pencil in a limited edition of 25; purchaser will receive lowest available number; print is unframed and unmatted; framing services are available from the artist/seller. $7.00 for shipping in USA. The artist is a graduate of Carnegie Mellon University and has taught printmaking at the Pittsburgh Center for the Arts for over 10 years. He has exhibited at many galleries and museums throught Pennsylvania including the prestigious Print Center in Philadelphia, Hoyt Institute of Art, Art Association of Harrisburg, Philadelphia Museum of Art, Westmoreland Museum of American Art, The Dairy Barn Art Center in Athens Ohio, Touchstone Gallery in Washington DC and others. He will be exhibiting in Harrisburg, State College and Greensburg this year, and was also part of last year's Small Wonders show at the Maryland Federation of Art Gallery in Annapolis.
