DESCRIPTION
Up for auction is a LOT of 5, 3 New and 2 Refurbed, Nokia DSLAM compatible Netopia R7200 SDSL routers with 8 Port 10Base-T Switch, firewall, power supply, ethernet cable and a documentation and software CD (for Windows & Mac OS - no reference on the CD as to what specific OS versions, there is a smart wizard program to help configure it). Setup for routers is typically done through html programs (some old versions are included on the CD), so current browsers are able to access settings. ALL routers have been RESET TO FACTORY SPECIFICATIONS: Of course, this takes 30 seconds for each R7200 router with a paper clip, BUT IT SOUNDS IMPRESSIVE.
We recently received a major shipment of Netopia and Netopia routers from a Service Provider (that we can not reveal the name, but there are two letters near the end of the alphabet in the name). While never used, these routers had all been deployed to various COs, before being recalled and sent to us. This has resulted in a lot more R7200 routers than we actually use, and they are still arriving. You get a 30 day DOA warranty on all ten of these in each lot!
On eBay, with VERY few exceptions, sellers of individual Netopia routers give NO warranty, and routers are sold AS IS. Not HERE! We give a warranty on all working Netopia routers. The details are below. That is why our customers are quite frequently repeat buyers, and they buy several different kinds of Netopia routers in large quantities.

NETOPIA R7200 SDSL ROUTERS
Netopia R7200 Series SDSL Routers cost-effectively combine powerful business-class features and ease-of-use. Equipped with a built-in firewall, 8 port Ethernet hub, secure VPN* and dial backup options, the Netopia SDSL Router family delivers all the advanced features that a business needs for a secure and reliable LAN-based Internet connection.
NEXT GENERATION
Discover the next generation in high performance, all digital, dedicated connectivity with the Netopia's R7200 SDSL Router. This seven-speed router achieves connections from 160 Kbps to 1.568 Mbps, to provide businesses with a cost-effective, shared, simultaneous, permanent connection to the Internet. The R7200 supports firewalling between the hub and the WAN interface, can serve DHCP, and can detect a WAN link failure. If an external modem is connected to the Auxillary serial port, Netopia can be configured to dial out and use PPP as fallback. It has a single ATM SDSL daughter card on board. Maximum speed is 2.3 megabit in Nokia Fixed Mode. Certified for use with the Speedlink™ access concentrator from Nokia, these can also be configured to communicate with the Paradyne DSLAM. There are pins on the motherboard where additional hardware can be mounted.

EASY SETUP AND CONFIGURATION
The Netopia R7200 Router comes equipped with an 8-port hub, including an uplink port to connect to another hub. And for the users on your local network, Netopia's SmartIP, a combination of Network Address Translation (NAT) and Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP) server will enable you to configure your workstations for Internet access without even entering an IP address.
INVESTMENT PROTECTION
The Netopia R7200 Router allows businesses the flexibility to increase subscribed SDSL speeds instantly. You may start out with a 320 Kbps connection, and upgrade at any time to 416 Kbps with just a simple phone call to your Internet service provider. This produces a significant protection of investment since speeds can be increased all the way up to 1.568 Mbps without any additional hardware investment.
WAN INTERFACE
- SDSL port with support for symmetric connections of 192 Kbps, 384 Kbps, 768 Kbps, 1.152 Mbps and 1.536 Mbps (uses RJ45 connector).
- Second WAN interface for integrated optional V.90 or ISDN dial backup.

- NAT/NAPT: (Network Address and Network Address Port Translation): Provides enhanced security and flexibility by ÒhidingÓ all IP addresses on the LAN behind a single statically or dynamically assigned IP address on the Internet. Port Translation allows mail, Web, PPTP, and other servers on the LAN to be accessible from the Internet. (RFC 1631)
- MultiNAT: Sophisticated NAT (RFC 1631) extension that provides security of a NAT "wall" to hide LAN IP addresses on LAN while providing flexible use of all addresses offered by an ISP.
- Scheduled Connections: Connection profiles (ISP connections or VPN tunnels) can be initiated on a schedule to define full-time, on-demand, or periodic connections. Up to 16 connections can be scheduled including blackout periods and on-demand connection windows.
ADVANCED FEATURES
- Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP)Server Client and Relay Agent: As a DHCP server (RFC 2131), the router allows LAN clients to get their IP address configuration automatically when in bridged 1483 mode. As a DHCP client (RFC 2152), the router can acquire IP configuration information from a remote server. As a DHCP Relay Agent (RFC 1542) the router can forward DHCP requests to a centralized DHCP server across the WAN.

NON-DOA WARRANTY TERMS
We offer a 30 day non-DOA warranty from the date of signed delivery to the winning bidder on each of these routers. Notification of intent to return a router must be within the 30 (thirty) days of signed delivery of the item, and item must be returned within 7 (seven) days of said notice. It must be returned with ALL items that were included in the box and in the same condition as sent. Anything deemed not legible, altered physically, or different in any way forfeits any rights whatsoever to a refund of the winning bid amount. We cannot refund any shipping & handling costs incurred in returning the item, just the winning bid amount. Please understand that just because you feel that you have complied with the terms for a refund, does not mean that you have done so. Only upon our sole discretion (after an examination as to condition and completeness) that all terms mentioned here have been met will a refund of the winning bid amount will be issued to the winning bidder.
PAYMENT
We will accept Paypal for prompt shipment. PLEASE NOTE: We must hear from you within three days (72 hours) from the close of the auction as to your means of payment. Failure to do so will result in filing Non-Paying Bidder charges against you with eBay, and negative feedback.
SHIPPING
Shipping is free to the winning bidder for BULK-PACKED insured ground shipping within the continental USA only, Alaska, Hawaii and Canadian winners will have their shipping calculated at the end of the auction. This item will not be shipped outside of the continental U.S.A., Alaska, Hawaii or Canada. Please provide a place of residence, or business address for shipping, we do not ship to P.O. Box addresses, all package(s) must be signed for upon delivery and we will provide tracking information upon shipment.
IMPORTANT NOTE
If you do not need the 120 Volt power supply that comes with each router, we would be happy to credit you with $5.00 for each one that you forgo. It will be done on the invoice after purchase. Possible reasons for not wanting power supplies might include a surplus of power supplies, or that the routers are going to be transshipped to a country that uses a power supply with a different local voltage. Obviously, it would be cheaper to get that power supply locally, rather than purchase it in the USA and then ship it as well.
TERMS OF SALE
Payment must be received within 7 business days after closing of the auction. If payment is not received within the 7 business day grace period after closing of the auction, the sale is considered null and void, and the item will be listed again. Payment received after the 7 business day grace period will be returned to sender. We reserve the right not to sell to those with zero (0) feedback, or those with less than 97% positive feedback. Please, do not bid on this auction if you don't intend to pay and complete the auction, and do not use PayPal unless you are shipping to a confirmed address or have contacted us to make previous arrangements.
MISCELLANEOUS
Abercrombie-Rudman and Finch is the highest volume Netopia dealer on eBay. We try to maintain a 100-plus unit inventory of Netopia routers at any time. If there is an emergency (usually weather-related) and routers go down, Abercrombie-Rudman and Finch have shipped between six and 31 routers overnight to replace them. In the immediate aftermath of the hurricane destruction in August of 2005, we shipped 74 T1 and DSL routers into the affected parts of the gulf coast, or to staging areas that are helping in the wake of the devasting destruction.
