Ideal 1967 Captain Action Silver Streak Car NMIB

Let me first say the world is full of strokes!!! Bidders that bid and come up with all sorts of excuses on why they cannot pay for the auction. Same old Ebay stuff, someone had won this auction and then decided to email me asking if the box had the inside inserts, for the record it does not have the inside inserts that hold the car inside the box. He decided after costing me all sorts of fees that he did not want to pay me. I emailed the under bidder and he felt although he had a number in mind and placed that number that he would like to buy it way under his bid. To avoid this again I am placing a reserve on the car, so there is no misunderstanding, you need to reach the reserve to own the car. With that said here we go!!!!
Ouch!!!! I hate to sell this piece as I have had it in my collection for a long time and have not seen one as nice and this complete. This is Ideal's Captain Action Silver Streak Car and it is in near mint condition with original box, instructions and rockets. I have taken lots of pictures to show you the quality of this piece and because I have had it so long I can point out any flaws that it has. First let me say the box is present with all flaps, it does show wear including some creases, light stains, etc, but I would grade it at least a C-6. I am a very conservative grader and some might say this is a lot better then a grade 6, but I want the winning bidder to be happy with it, so I am calling it a C-6. The box is nice and square. Next the instructions are here, but do have some center tears, and I have not put any tape on them, just the way I originally got it. The instruction sheet is complete and in very good condition. Now we come to the car, it is gorgeous with nice bright clean chrome, decals, and clear windshield. The car just about looks unplayed with, but there are some minor things that I will point out. First the windshield looks perfect as it is clear and uncracked, but the two small back tabs that go down in to the vehicle are broken. You would never be able to tell as the windshield sits tightly against the car, and you have to lift it to actually see this. Next one of the rocket launchers at the bottom of the base has been repaired, it has been glued and fits tightly in to the car. I did remove it from the car without a problem. I took a close up of this and again very hard to see without very close inspection, but again I want the winning bidder to be happy. That is it for the car everything else is perfect, no scratches, cracks, or damage. Chrome is perfect and wheels roll freely with steering working properly. Last is the two original rockets, both have the springs and launch fine. One rocket is missing the tiny little rubber end cap, and one rocket has a split in the black part of the body section that I would think is an easy glue fix. This is by far one of the nicest examples I have seen, and I have disclosed every thing that I could could see on the vehicle. Extremely tough piece to find this nice.
