It was a Silver Medal Finalist in the 2008 Benjamin Franklin Independent Book Awards (Bill Fisher Award for Best First Book). The author, Joe Pulichino, is also a 2008 San Francisco Poets Eleven award winner. This is his first book of published poetry. The pastel illustrations throughout are provided by artist Julie Higgins.

This first edition (later printing) copy is signed on the half-title page by the author, who has also generously donated it for sale. "I hope the book will help... bring the joy of poetry to many readers." Proceeds help to benefit the Friends of Libraries USA organization.

80pp. Bound in color, illustrated 129 gsm Lumi Silk Artpaper over the boards, with orange Saifu cloth wrap on the spine. Cover is in very good condition; practically brand new. Silver award seal on front panel. The binding is tight and sturdy. Text pages were printed and varnished on 157 gsm Lumi Silk Artpaper, and are clean, bright, and unblemished.
