This is a set of Illy Collection cups and saucers designed by Nam June Paik and produced in Germany in 1996 by Mitterteich. The six cups are signed and numbered and have never been out of their original box.  

As a composer, performer, and video artist Mr Paik played a pivotal role in introducing artists and audiences to the possibilities of using video for artistic expression. And that's how he decorated these six "Illy Collection" espresso cups...as if they were television screens.

These cups are in excellent condition and would make a nice gift for the collector.  Free shipping and insurance.  Thanks for looking!
