About This Piece:

This is my second painting of a horse named Incititas. Whom I have special permission from his owner to paint.

This painting measures 8x10 inches on a gallery wrapped canvas. There are no staples in the sides. Sides are painted over so that you do not have to frame it if you do not want to. It can be hung as is.

I used the best quality Grumbacher oils to create him. This is a very detailed horse painting. The Arizona desert is the setting for the background.

This painting comes signed and dated on the font, by me Janelle Dixon. I will also email the winning bidder an electronic EBSQ certificate of authenticity.

About the Artist:

Currently, I am an artist working out of my own home. I raise rabbits, and pigeons, and have several other pets.

I can paint commissioned pet portraits upon request (see ebay store, or EBSQ profile for more details). I have shown my art all over my county in the past, including our county fair. I also show at the St. Joe County, and hillsdale county fairs every year.

A lot of my work is painted to compete and show. I have won several best in shows, and honorable mentions from showing at the county fairs.

My art has been sold to, and collected in other counties as well as the US.

I am also a member of the Branch County art guild, a large group of artists in the southern part of Michigan that is dedicated to showing and promoting original works of art. I have exhibited my art through them at the tibbitts opera house, and various other locations in the past. Our group even painted a mural in downtown Coldwater MI, of which I was very actively involved in.

I am also EBSQ certifified and participate in alot of their online art shows.

Each of my paintings comes with its own EBSQ certificate of authenticity, signed by me.

The reserve is set at slightly above $19.00. But no more then $21.00. This would make a nice collectable for any horse lover. I should be producing another painting to match it within the next month.
