Antique Indian Ritual Kerala Bronze 'Yama On Buffalo' (Very Rare):

This is an old piece made of metal bronze. the subject of the piece is yama( the god of death) he is seated on his prominent vehicle, male buffalo. and holding a sword in right hand bowl for the blood in left hand. he is wearing very distinctive crown. this is an house hold worship object .this is only worshiped by a very special community called bhuta. they are became rare species now. prabhavali (ornate back) is missing in this objects, This is typical south Indian Kerala piece. this is  good quality piece. and highly collectable.

These kind of art pieces is displayed in Sanskrit museum as 'every day art of India' In Delhi, (India).
