ENFIELD No. 2 MK1 Heavy Weight Edition
As Seen in Indiana Jones and The Last Crusade
FULLY LICENSED WITH ALL FACTORY TRADEMARKS
WHAT ARE MODEL FIREARMS FROM JAPAN ALL ABOUT?
Guns are mostly illegal in Japan. With few exceptions it is impossible to own a gun in Japan legally. Those that are allowed are the police and Japanese defensive military. Thus, it is impossible for 99.99% of the civilians to own any kind of handgun or rifle.
Japanese Model guns are basically toy replicas that are usually made of zinc-alloy or plastic materials to satisfy gun enuthusiasts who live in Japan constrained under the situation as described above.
Most model guns try to replicate the physical looks of the real gun counterpart, and some are even made to copy the internal mechanisms. However, in order to enforce the strict Japanese gun control laws, there are specific guidelines that restrain the mechanisms of model guns. Thus, model guns on the Japanese market are 100% safe and cannot be converted into something that can provide real projectile firing capability.
Usually model guns come with pseudo cartridges that can be loaded with caps to simulate gun fire as is usual in toy guns. Some model guns even incorporate short recoil and blowback mechanisms to simulate semi-auto and full-auto firing. There are also models that only support dummy cartridges that look like real bullets and cannot be used with caps.
Japanese model firearms are so safe, that even children in Japan can own and play with them. The model gun hobby allows enthusiasts from all over the world to collect famous firearms without the fear of anyone ever getting hurt with one.

Enfield Revolvers were British handguns manufactured at the government-owned Royal Small Arms Factory in Enfield. First model Enfield revolvers were the official sidearm of the Northwest Mounted Police, and later models were the standard British sidearm in the Second World War.
The first models of the revolver, the Mark I and Mark II, were official British military sidearms from 1880 through 1887. However the original cartridge was considered underpowered during the Afghan Wars and loading the gun was complicated. It was superseded by the Webley Mark I revolver.
The Mark II Enfield was adopted by Canada's Northwest Mounted Police in 1883 and remained in service as their official sidearm until the Colt New Service revolver was adopted in 1905. About 1100 Enfield revolvers were delivered to the NWMP.
After the First World War, it was decided that a .38 calibre (9.65 mm) pistol firing a 200 grain (13 g) bullet would be as effective as the .455 calibre (11.6 mm) round. There is some doubt as to how true this actually was, as the .38/200 round gives comparable performance to the modern .38 Special cartridge- which is not nearly as powerful as the .455 Webley round.
Nonetheless, the British firm of Webley & Scott tendered their Webley Mk IV revolver in .38/200 calibre. Rather than adopting it, the British authorities took the design to the Government-run Royal Small Arms Factory at Enfield. The Enfield factory came up with a revolver that was very similar to the Webley Mk IV .38, but internally slightly different.
This pistol was designated as the Enfield No. 2 Mark 1 revolver and adopted for use from 1932.
This little pistol saw vast use in World War II, the Korean War, British colonial conflicts and numerous others conflicts.
For auction is a rare and obscure model replica of the Enfield No. 2 .38 Mark 1 revolver. This pistol saw action as the sidearm of Indiana Jones in the 3rd Movie... The Last Crusade. While the Webley Revolver was seen in most scenes in the two previous movies, this model made the cut in Crusade. However, the Webley Revolver was also seen in many scenes as well, as Indy's pistol seemed to change depending on what was available! This detailed model is cast in ABS plastic with real metal components, that include a metal hammer, metal trigger, metal action lever/lock, metal internals, inert dummy rounds (where caps can be installed to simulate firing), metal lanyard ring swivel, metal forward sight, metal screws/springs and more. The model replica features full inscriptions and factory tooling marks along the top of the barrel and frame. It features fully replicated function and operation: The frame pops open allowing loading and unloading of the replica shells, the trigger has full double action that when pulled actuates the hammer and drops while the cylinder spins with every pull of the trigger! The 6 shells are also designed to accept small caps that fit inside each reusable shell, so it can cap fired as well. This finely crafted model is fully licensed and has full trademarks and inscriptions down to the barrel markings. The overall look and feel is not only realistic, but impressive too, as it is finished off an a nice matte black finish. The caps to make the pistol cap fire ARE NOT INCLUDED WITH THIS AUCTION!
Pistol is in brand new and unused/unfired condition. Comes with full instructions (in Japanese text, of course), loading tool and more... BUT NO CAPS PER EBAY MANDATE!
