Industrial MOD Tropical Vintage Barkcloth Drape Panel

Design "HAWAII...Hand print Peggy Joubert"...OMG this is the most fantabulous pattern. A period of the mid 50's where the industrial age was peaking and was being influenced by Danish modern elements...a tougher...heavier fabric made with a fiber of mostly cotton with a little rayo9n mixed in...the weave so tight that it makes this fabric nearly indestructible. I've seen this same fabric in car seats back in the day...topped off with a glorious print that is like art work in and of itself. The fact that it has a artist/designer name on it is extremely rare...the artist must have been good and we know she was...if she had her name on it...or she was a sole designer of this line exclusively which was extremely prestigious and rare. A bold and splashy tropical flower...a depiction of a hibiscus as if the artist were on something psychedelic...tripping or shrooms...whatever the case the end result...one of the most FANTABULUST drapery panels that I think I've ever laid my hands on...I was thinking of using it in a room I'm renovating that is super mod...white leather boomerang chairs...amoeba and chrome tables and this drapery panel against a stark white wall. Its one of those patterns that collectors wait a life time for...priced high for this current market, but a price I am comfortable with if I should decide to keep them for myself...then I won't kick myself for selling them. A pale wonderful gray background with TRUE RED.. TRUE LIME and a handsome dark bottle green....my pics should show a very bold and bright colored drapery panel...if it doesn't your monitor needs replacement, cuz the colors are the bomb! Remember this is not for wimps...this stuff is HEAVY...the lining makes it heavy too, but the quality is second to none. Imagine the projects you could complete with this fabric...I have 3 more panels exact to this I am listing too so if you need em all...take advantage as I promise this will never be seen again...a rare opportunity. Check out another mod fabric I am listing too tonight that would be fantabulous with this fabric. Immaculate and like museum quality...measures 25 at top pleats...45 at bottom and 98 long with a 6 inch hem.  Surely something to treasure. Hawaii's callin!
