Fortunately they are very simple lures to make and you can quickly turn out a few dozen at very little cost.A whole seasons supply can be made for a few dollars.

Basically the lure is a shaped balsawood body with a wire insert to hold the hooks and a plastic lip to supply the wobbling action.The raw materials needed are some balsawood(from a model airplane store or hobby shop),brass or copper wire,spray paint,plastic sheet for the lip,split rings and treble hooks.You need very little in the way of tools.A sharp knife,hacksaw blade and fine sand paper are the basics.
