The chasing is a stunning folate/floral/shell/scrollwork/pineapple piece of work. Note the fancy rim in a modified gadrooning with floral interspersing.
The piece is estate acquired & exhibits use wear. It is in fair estate condition, with a little copper showing thru on some of the scrollwork. Also, a few small pit marks have been noted. I have considered the usewear in the price. Obviously, not the best choice for a perfectionist.
I have detected no dents, dings, or any other flaws with the piece.
