PAYMENT / SHIPPING / RETURN / WARRANTY / POLICIES - PLEASE READ

Hi, I am an eBay Power Seller with positive feedback (99.7% or higher) of over 16,000 and climbing. I will do everything possible to make your eBay buying a pleasant experience. This is my policy section and spells out all of my terms and conditions.  This is a general policy and subject to change without notice.  If the description of an auction contradicts what is contained in this policy, then that description overrides this policy.  I believe that most eBayers are honest and fair, however there is a very, very small percentage of people out there that just don't understand how eBay works or expect miracles.  For those people especially, please read this to prevent misunderstandings.  If you don't understand something, ask first before you bid.  Thanks, Fred

Combining Auctions: If you have won multiple auctions, I will gladly combine them into one shipment to save you shipping costs where possible. Contact me with the auctions you wish to combine before or after you buy.

About Our Products:  We make every effort possible to represent our products as accurately and honestly as possible.  Most all the information regarding our products are gathered from the manufacturer, their web site or their product information spec sheets and catalogs.  We do all of our own photography except in rare cases. Due to the nature of flash photograph, sometimes the colors can be distorted or lightened. We cannot be responsible for errors, typos or omissions in the descriptions or variations in the pictures.  Please use your due diligence before ordering any item or contact us if you have special concerns or questions.  If something does not look right, please contact us up front, not after you purchase the item.

Shipping General: All USA shipments are generally processed and shipped the same day or next day after payment is received. Normal shipping service for packages 2 lbs or less is USPS Priority Mail while larger packages are shipped UPS Ground.  We also offer UPS Next Day Air and UPS 2nd Day Air services when needed.  Please contact us for a quote. International shipments and APO/FPO may take longer to process due to the extra paperwork for customs and hand delivering the packages to the proper shipper when necessary.  Please Note: Due to weekends, holidays and vacations (yes I do take some time off once in a while) there are a few times a year that  we cannot keep this schedule.  If you absolutely must have an item by a certain date, please contact me first before buying or purchasing.

Payment USA: I accept PayPal (to fred@mt-ac.com), credit cards (call 239-540-5915 or fax information to 239-540-9368), Money Orders and personal checks.  For Money Orders and personal checks, please make out to ModTech, Inc. and mail to 1208 SW 49th Terrace, Cape Coral FL 33914.  Please Note: All shipments paid by personal check will be held for fourteen (14) days (from the day we receive the check) for the check to clear the bank.  Do not ask for shipment to be made earlier because you see that the check has cleared your bank.

Payment Canada/International: I accept PayPal (to fred@mt-ac.com), credit cards (Canada only - call 239-540-5915 or fax information to 239-540-9368), and International Money Orders made out in US funds.  For Money Orders please make out to ModTech, Inc. and mail to 1208 SW 49th Terrace, Cape Coral FL 33914. Please Note: For a list of countries that I will accept payment from, see Shipping International below.

Delivery Tracking: Delivery tracking information is provided as a free service for all shipments via USPS Priority Mail or UPS services.  You will be notified via email when the package is shipped and what the tracking number is.  Please check your email.  Delivery tracking for international shipments is not available via Air Mail or Economy Mail (boat) through the USPS.

Insurance USPS: Insurance is optional for USPS shipments.  Rates are $1.30 up to $50.00, $2.20 from $50.01 to $100.00, $3.20 for $100.01 to $200.00, etc.  If you want insurance you must specify on your payment and include the appropriate amount in your payment.

Insurance UPS: Insurance is automatically included (at no charge) for all UPS shipments up to $100.00.  If additional insurance is needed, it is your responsibility to add $.35 per $100.00 of additional insurance.

Shipping USA (lower 48): If this item ships via USPS, the shipping charge will be stated in the auction.  If it ships via UPS, use the shipping calculator at the end of the auction.  Just enter your zip code to determine shipping charges.

Shipping Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico:  Shipments to these locations are generally via USPS Priority Mail.  If the shipping charge is not stated in the auction, please email us with your zip code for a shipping quote before purchasing or bidding.

Shipping APO/FPO: We gladly ship to APO/FPO addresses, however please contact us prior to bidding for a shipping quote.

Shipping Canada: Shipments to Canada are normally via UPS Standard Service.  Please email me with your postal code and address for a quote and contact me before bidding for any special regulations, customs, etc. I cannot be responsible if you bid on an item and later find out that shipping to Canada is very expensive.

Shipping International: Shipping international varies tremendously by country.  Please email me with the country you are from for a quote and contact me before bidding as many countries have special regulations, customs, etc. I cannot be responsible if you bid on an item and later find out that shipping to your country is very expensive.  Please Note: I only ship to PayPal approved countries.

Sales Tax: Residents of the state of Florida need to pay sales tax of 6 percent. This applies to all shipments made to a Florida address.

Returns (except software): We do accept returns if you change your mind about an item or ordered a wrong item. Return and/or exchange of merchandise must take place within 7 days of receipt of product.  All merchandise to be returned must be in original condition, including packaging, documentation, warranty cards, manuals, accessories, etc.  The product's original factory seal must be intact.  ModTech, Inc. reserves the right to decline any return or exchange where the product is not in salable condition.  Returns are to be freight prepaid back to ModTech, Inc. and are subject to a restocking fee of 20% with a minimum restocking fee of $3.00.  Freight and handling are not refundable.  Please contact us first before returning any merchandise for approval. See exception for software below.

Warranty (except software): Unless stated otherwise in the auction, all products are new and are normally covered by a manufacturer’s warranty.  Although it is rare, if you do find that you need assistance, all warranty and technical issues must be directed to the manufacturer, not to ModTech, Inc.  We will gladly assist you in obtaining the necessary contact information if needed.  If a product is defective, it must be returned to the manufacturer.

Software: I also sell many other retail boxed software products.  These may be slightly out of date versions or current versions.  Please check the auction description for the version/date of the software you are bidding on.  Due to the nature of this product (software) there are NO RETURNS.

Feedback: I will leave positive feedback when payment is received, except for personal checks.  For personal checks, I will leave positive feedback when the check clears (14 days).  I would appreciate positive feedback when you receive your item.  If there is a problem, please contact me to resolve the issue before leaving negative feedback. &
