Iranian Persian Cossack Shashka Sword Russian Saber wwi

 

Iranian Qajar dynasty sword for the Persian Cossack-type units. It was modeled on the 1891 Russian
dragoon shashka pattern.
All parts bear same Arabic-Indic numerals.

“09312” or “21390” totaling 3 similar stamps-hallmarks: blade, bottom of hilt, top of hilt. Wooden handle and blade covered with solid oil are just few marks of long and good conservation. It was never in use.

Size w scabbard: 92.8 cm long or 36.5 inches

Size blade only: 78.8 cm L
