This is a really pretty little cup and saucer, being sold as a set. *There is some question as to whether they are a true set because the cup doesn't fit perfectly inside the ring of the saucer, but this may also just be due to the 4 footed base of the cup. Either way they look great together. Dark pink and purple irridescent glaze and gilded details on both cup and saucer. Cup has applied/molded floral detail on one side only. There is a small imperfection where a small corner of one of the flower's lower petals is missing but there it's glazed over so must have occurred during production. The cup has the number '49' on the bottom but no other markings were found.
Overall good condition - No cracks or chips to cup or saucer. Some small imperfections to glaze on both cup and saucer. Gold gild does show some wear.
