The “Collector’s Issue” The Collectors Issue - Issue 1 of The Diecast Magazine - North America was released in October, 2008 and launched at iHobby Expo, Illinois.
The Diecast Magazine has set a new standard for die-cast collecting magazines.
Issue 1 of The Diecast Magazine - North America, the Collectors Issue, is packed with feature articles and new release information that is balanced between a variety of American and International vehicles in both road and race versions. Issue 1 has everything from the stunning Bugatti Royale by Bauer, which is the quite possibly the ultimate 1:18 replica, to the treasured Pink Cadillac of Elvis himself!
The Diecast Magazine - North American edition starts with Shop Talk a section that contains information of new and upcoming automobile releases as well as a diverse range of specialized die-cast models like heavy machinery, military models, aircraft, trucks and motorcycles in a variety of scales. The main editorial section covers a wealth of in-depth articles from popular model manufacturers worldwide including: AutoArt, Carousel 1 Classic Carlectables, CMC, Franklin Mint, GMP, Kyosho, Minichamps, Precision Miniatures and many more.
Also there is an invitation to The Collectors Post described on page 14. The Collectors Post is all about you and your collection, how you started collecting, why you collect and what you collect. Anyone who provides an article with pictures that can be published automatically goes into the draw to win a model. The Diecast Magazine looks forward to including this as a regular section in the future and ask you to put pen to paper and send us your words and a couple of pictures to be in with a chance to win a model and have your article published in the next issue of The Diecast magazine North American edition.
The Diecast Magazine is sold at selected Barnes and Noble, Books-A-Million, Borders, Hastings and Walden bookstores in America as well as Indigo bookstores in Canada. The Diecast Magazine is also available through select diecast model retailers throughout North America.
