Italian Abita di Firenze Velveteen Gown-Black Size 14/16

A beautiful Black Italian gown in cotton velveteen in ladies size 14/16.

Stroll along merchants' way in Florence while stopping to gaze at the frescoes and you just might see one depicting a lady in this gown. The removable sleeves reverse to black and may be worn with cuffs covering the hands, or turned back like French cuffs. The V-neck open front gown laces through rings. This style of lacing may be seen on the painting "Ginevra de Benci" by Leonardo di Vinci hanging in the National Gallery of Art, Washington D.C. The cotton velveteen dress is machine washable, tumble dry. This listing is for a ladies size 14/16 in regular women's sizes and is Black. The measurements for this gown are Bust-up to 38", waist 35-36" and hips to 50". The close up picture gives you a good view of the trim on the front of the gown. The gown is new and unworn. The second picture is an example of how this gown looks when worn. It's shown worn over a chemise and petticoat skirt which are NOT included but you may purchase in my ebay store. The gown can be worn with just a chemis but adding a contrasting petticoat will give you a different look for this gown. I've been carrying this gown to sell at Renaissance Fairs where it has been displayed on a clothing rack.
