Italian Velveteen Gown-Dark Green Size XL A beautiful Dark Green Italian gown in cotton velveteen in ladies size XL. This dress is fashioned after gowns worn in the late 1400's. It is a comfortable fit dress made of cotton velveteen, the closest modern equivalent to period velvet. An embroidered motif accents the bodice and it has decorative Golden trim around the neckline and down the center of the sleeves. The tie on sleeves are attached to the dress at the shoulders so you won't misplace them. There are two sections to each sleeve, one that ties around the forearm and the other around the upper arm. The lower sleeve is attached to the other via ribbon so everything stays together. It is a size XL in women's sizes and is a dark green color. The bust measurement for this dress is 46" if that helps you with sizing. Since it has a higher waist the bust measurement is more accurate for fitting.Machine wash, cool, gentle, tumble dry. The second picture gives you a close up of the embroidery on the front of the gown. The gown is new and unworn. I've been carrying this gown to sell at Renaissance Fairs where it has been displayed on a clothing rack.
