Clock has nice walnut burl I think that's what it's called. The little flap that hides the pendulum is very nice touch. Case probably has been refinished maybe 30 years ago. Glass Bezel on bottom is un-soldered ( loose ) Dials have probably have replaced on original zinc pans. Movement and calendar mech are all there, runs, but has not been run since 1988 I think, can't remember exactly what year.
Clock probably needs cleaning and setting.
Look closely at the top and you will see a break that has been glued back together. It vanishes if you stand back about 2 feet. But if you look at clocks with your nose pretty close to the dial, yep you can see the break.
The wooden back is NOT original to clock. Old, but miscut and just not attractive. If you put it with back to wall, you will never see it. Key and pendulum probably are NOT original to the clock.
Questions? Ask please please BEFORE bidding. Beautiful clock. It can be yours for a reasonable price. I hear someone is making a reproduction of this clock.
THIS is NOT a reproduction.
