Story/Each flower on the morning glory vine lasts for one day, and each firefly (or lightning bug) lives a brief life. Yet, within the time they have, each one blossoms and shines.

During my research for this painting, I also found an unnamed species of diurnal fireflies--those that are active during the day. Although most day-time species don't give off light, some do. I find that inspiring.
