All RUSS Bears From The Past™ are made of highest quality materials, such as wool and mohair, corduroy, suede and a new, buttery-soft fabric Russ Berrie and Co. calls Sof-Chamois. These materials are cut in limited quantities to protect each special design and careful attention is given to ensure the color, nap and texture reflect the individual personality of each animal.
Hand sewn expressions and sculpted facial fur also help maintain their uniquepersonalities, as do the securely locked crystal eyes, selected in just the right color tone.Clothing and accessories are chosen with extreme care, hand crafted and enhanced by special couturier touches to achieve just the right look.
Antique reproductions are thoroughly researched and handcrafted to reflect an authentic translation of heirloom design. All materials are non-allergenic, non-flammable and surface or machine washable.
