You are bidding on a formerly enjoyed condition hand crafted "Saddle Billiard" shaped pipe, that was hand crafted by the American pipe carver, Mr. Jeff Gracik just last year, in 2008. This is pipe number 254. Jeff has become one of the hottest pipe carvers, in the world. His pipes are snapped up as soon as they come to market. This is for a good reason - Jeff clearly crafts one of the very best pipes that money can buy. Jeff's pipes are perfectly engineered and with his sense of design, look utterly fantastic!

This gorgeous pipe is beautifully blasted with a very nice display of crisp ring grain.  The hand cut white organic material (Ebay does not permit me to mention the composition of this material, if you don't know please ask me!) stem trim inlay band lends a gorgeous organic design touch.

The overall balance feels perfect. The hand feel is very comfortable. The engineering is perfect. The stem is cut nice and thin. In addition to an easy draft, a pipe cleaner will effortlessly pass to the bottom of the bowl. Please note that hat the walls of this pipe are thin. I would not recommend this pipe for an aggressive puffer, as it could perform hat until broken in.

Here are the dimensions of this amazing high grade hand crafted pipe: The overall length is about 5.75”. The bowl height is about 1.75”. The tobacco chamber is about 0.825” in diameter. The inner depth is about 1.675”. Tobacco capacity is about that of a Group 5 to 6 size Dunhill pipe. This featherweight pipe weighs only 31 grams.

This pipe required only the most superficial of cleaning and sanitization. The original hand cut vulcanite stem is free from any tooth marks, scratches, or oxidation. This J. Alan pipe is in a clean condition that is ready to deliver immediate enjoyment right out of the box.

Once again, this is a seven day no reserve pipe auction. I do not believe in "Reserve" or "Buy it Now" prices. I want the lucky high bidder to own and enjoy this pipe and not have him frustrate himself with bidding on a pipe that is not attainable on a price basis! The pipes that I ship have too much time and labor lavished on their restoration and presentations as well as the many of these pipes are irreplaceable works of art. I am not going to risk damage by using lesser packing. (In my nine years of selling pipes on eBay and shipping thousands of pipes around the world, not a single pipe has been damaged!) I also try my utmost to ship your pipe the same day that I receive your payment, even if this means making a special trip to the Post Office just for you alone. The Registered parcels that ship overseas take extensive time with both the packaging and four forms of documentation that must be filled out. Unfortunately, this all has to be reflected in my shipping costs, so please bid accordingly.
