This piece has an image size of 33 x 36 inches . Historically, most fine art reproductions were made with offset presses. These are called lithographs. They are produced, many per minute. In comparison, a modern giclee printer produces only a few per hour, spraying thousands of drops of ink or paint right on watercolor paper or canvas. The four colors maximun on lithographs is doubled to eight with giclee and 300 dots per square inch with offset lithographs , has risen to 1500 dots per square inch with giclee's. The Giclee technology has made it possible to create an art print that is difficult to distinguish from the original.
