J PETERMAN TITANIC "HEART OF THE OCEAN" PENDANT & NECKLACE

This is an exquisite, limited edition reproduction of the necklace worn by Kate Winslet in the motion picture "Titanic".
It is in excellent condition.
Production was authorized by Fox Pictures, but J Peterman filed for bankruptcy before completing the limited edition.
Nobody knows how many were ever actually made, but not many.
The original box and papers for this necklace are gone, but I have verified its authenticity by doing a lot of online research.
(There are many versions of this necklace out there.)
Only the authorized necklaces say "FOX" on the back of the pendant, as seen in my last picture.

This 18 inch long necklace is made of 84 brilliant faux diamonds.
It has a total of 137 hand-set faceted Austrian crystals.
The heart shaped faux blue diamond in the detachable pendant would weigh 75 carats if it were a genuine diamond,
and is encircled by faux diamonds.
The settings are all triple plated with rhodium, a precious metal.
The necklace has been worn but is in excellent condition, as seen in the pictures.
I have purchased a replacement for the original box.
