JAPAN, Vintage Hand Painted Crackle Glaze Porcelain Teapot

Made in Japan

 

Up for auction is a vintage hand painted porcelain teapot from Japan.. Teapot is decorated with large hand painted yellow and russet florals with leaves.. Ground has crackle glaze; bottom is marked with Japan.. Item is a 5 cup pot.. Spout, handle and lid have gold pin striping.. Item is vintage and pre-owned but in quiet good condition with no chips to the spout end, no wear to the pin striping or any other major damages, there are several small chips along the unglazed foot rim which is not visible unless lifting pot to look for this damage.

Dimensions: 6” tall to top of lid knob, 7 3/8” spout to handle span, 3 1/8” foot, 4 ¾” widest body, 2 ¼” opening
