You remember that Green ,Yellow colored Nakayama is the most high class stones.

Log is suitable for layer of the slate stones.
You know hard wood and soft wood ,and growth rate  are various.
Don' t seek for none layers stones.
None layer means too fast growth rate.
No layer isn't belong to slate stones anymore.
The structure is very similar to artifact stones.
Both of them are knead stones.

By the way, multiple narrow layer means to be consist of multiple files layers at fixed intervals.  
Imagine and be surprise.
The sharpening micro grit stand systematically ,and can gain many feed back.
It is the reason that ,natural cannot to surrender to the artifact in modern times!!

knead and multiple files are different from each other!!
Long long time is only able to make multiple files layer.

It is mysterious and top class stone.
And you can confirm that the iron flower will as soon as turn rust color from black  color .
It means that the black iron flower was oxidized by smooth particles.
