I love using batik fabric not only does all the different tones and shades make it possible to use the same fabric in more than one part of the pattern but is also allows you to blend light and darks together without a noticeable shift in colors or shade

Galaxy fabrics are an independent line of fabrics produced by EE Schenck (the same company that manufactures the Maywood Studio line of fabrics).

This is 100% cotton fabric. Sold by the yard from a fabric shop and cut with a rotory cutter if ordering more than one yard it will come as a continuous length (one peice) of fabric.
