2006 Action Racing Collectibles 1/24 scale diecast metal color chrome collectible of #24 Dupont / Chip Foose Custom Design sponsored Chevy Monte Carlo raced by Jeff Gordon. Jeff raced this special paint scheme in February 2006 at California Speedway. It features a Hot Hues themed paint scheme created by award-winning car designer Chip Foose. The heat waves and flames were painted using several different shades of  Dupont's speciality Hot Hues paints. This rare color chrome version was only sold through QVC's "For Race Fans Only" and comes in a special "For Race Fans Only" packaging and sold for $79 on QVC. The finish is striking black colorchrome which is done with a special plating and polishing process to produce a mirror-like metallic finish then the racing graphics are painted over the colorchrome in the tampo painting process. This car will stand out in any collection.  It has great detail including an opening hood, trunk and roof flaps with a detailed engine including wires and hoses, a detailed interior and the fantastic colorchrome finish.  It is a very limited edition of only 2508 cars produced and comes with a certificate of authenticity. New for 2006, this car has a serial # under the rear window so your collectible can be registered online to obtain a certificate of title.
