ANOTHER SUPER RARE SLICE OF HAIR METAL / MELODIC HARD ROCK BROUGHT TO YOU BY RETROSPECT RECORDS. ORIGINALLY INDEPENDENTLY RELEASED ONLY ON VINYL IN LIMITED QUANTITIES BACK IN 1988 , THIS IS THE FIRST TIME EVER ON CD FROM THIS LOS ANGELES-BASED QUARTET. IF YOU ARE FAMILIAR WITH THE L.A. SUNSET STRIP SCENE IN THE MID-80s , YOU'LL REMEMBER THE BANDS 'Hyde' AND 'Letchen Grey'. JEKYLL WAS BASICALLY A MIX OF THE TWO BANDS. ROBERT SYKES (vocalist of Letchen Grey) JOINED UP WITH FORMER HYDE MEMBERS Todd Lossone , Robert Hamilton AND Carlos Valdivia TO CREATE A NEW BAND CALLED JEKYLL. WHILE THEIR ONLY RECORDINGS RESULTED IN THIS EP - IT'S STILL AN INTEGRAL PART OF THE SUNSET STRIP SCENE AND IS A SUPER ADDITION TO YOUR HAIR METAL COLLECTION.
