In Memory of Sweets 1986-2005 He Was One Hell of a Cat
OMG! This is such a gorgeous scarf! It's big - it measures @ 34" square. The background is soft light cream, and it has 2 huge floral sprays radiating out from the center with big blossoms in the richest colors - deep wine red, grape and eggplant purples, tawny golds, amd 2 shades of dusky green, one with a hint of teal. We are talking yummy! The Jim Thompson signature is in the lower right corner in purple. The care tag is gone from this one, and I'm waffling on the fabric - I'm pretty certain it is 100% Silk with a firm, almost chintz feel to it and a soft sheen - it's beautiful and top quality whatever it is. This pre-owned scarf is in overall EXCELLENT gently used condition, no snags or runs. Inspecting it closely I do see some very faint soiling, like tiny water spots, but they are so minor I wouldn't hesitate to wear it as-is. What an elegant design and knock-out colors. Someone out there will get oohs and ahhs when they wear this one.
