An interesting promotional peice from Rambler, Hurst Performance Products, and Jo-Han models; this car with flywheel friction motor was assembled with screws and, I suspect, was not kit built. The license plate reads 1964, and there is information about the car's features inscribed on the undercarriage, which leads me to beleive that it was a promotional piece, possibly from an auto show. Car is from the childhood collection of a lifelong Detroit resident. The car seems to have been the victim of overspray when some other model was being painted, but I don't think that its collectibility was completely destroyed. Photo is of an actual item in stock in our store; not a catalog image.
