First UK edition larger format(15.50 x 22.50cms)paperback book published in 1981 by the BBC in more or less very good condition. There is some rubbing to the cover edges and edges of the spine. There is some thin creasing across the top right hand corner of the front cover. There is also some crasing near the spine on the front cover which can be seen on the photograph.

The book contains 95 pages and is the verbatim transcript of a taped three hour interview by BBC Radio One's Andy Peebles in New York which took place forty-eight hours before John Lennon was murdered. At the time of the interview it was the first time for over five years that John had agreed to face a radio microphone. What was expected to be a routine half-hour chat about his and Yoko's latest LP, Double Fantasy, turned magically into a long, deep and candid discussion about his life and work. Fascinating stuff.
