For the classic comic art lover, here is an historic image from one of the all-time great Marvel artists!  This is an iris print on fine art paper, shot directly from the original comic cover line art of Amazing Spider-Man #40 and digitally re-colored by Wildstorm studios.  

There are many that contend that the quality of iris prints is unsurpassed, even by the newer giclée process! Jim Lee and Wildstorm produced high quality iris prints of many classic Marvel covers many years ago when they had the Marvel license and were producing the Heroes Reborn and Heroes Return storylines.  There are as many as 20 different images in this collection of iris prints.  HFA Gallery bought the remaining inventory of these prints directly from Jim Lee, making these iris prints EXCLUSIVE to our gallery!  Each iris print is signed and numbered in an edition of 300.  We know for a fact that nearly every edition was NOT completed, making these even more rare than the already small edition size of 300.  Each piece also comes with a certificate of authenticity signed by Jim Lee himself, certifying that we did in fact purchase the remaining inventory of these iris prints.
