From Eclipse Comics and Jon J. Muth (Moonshadow, the Mystery Play, and much more) comes a haunting interpretation for comics of Fritz Lang and Thea Von Harbou's 1932 German Expressionist classic of a child killer who causes so much terror in the city that the criminals are obliged to hunt him down.

No mere "Classics Illustrated" telling of the story, this is a rare example of comics adapting from another medium and making the subject comics' own the same way you might adapt a book to a film. The black and white, and sometimes color-tinted, is amazingly photorealistic while still expressive and atmospheric. Rarely do you see an achievement like this.

These are in good condition, hard to find. They have been read and have slight cosmetic age wear, but I have taken very good care of them(I'm the original owner and these are some of my favorite comics) andI would grade them, conservatively, at F, maybe VF, though some are possibly better than that. Harder and more expensive to find separately. Save postage and searching and snap up the whole set of four!
