You are bidding on a set of 11 signed crystal water goblets in the JASMINE-FROSTED pattern by JOSAIR.  The glasses are 7” tall and measure 3-1/4” across the rim.  The stems are frosted and have six elegantly faceted sides, each rising upward to create a flower petal on the bowl of the goblet.  Although pre-owned, each goblet is in mint condition.

 

Six goblets are decidedly authentic bearing heavy frosted work and the etched Josair logo on their base: encircled letters ‘JH’ below a crown.

 

Five other goblets are nearly identical, but bear a different maker’s mark: each has the word JOSAIR and ‘R’ in a circle etched on the base.  Petals are slightly wider and frosting is lighter.  They also have clear crystal bowls and bases, and the frosted stems bear the same sharp etching as the other 6 glasses.  [They make the same 'ting'.]

 

My research yields no information on why the 5 goblets differ and, thus, I make no representation as to their authenticity.  I do assure you that they are almost indistinguishable from the 6 and appear to be of high grade crystal and quality craftsmanship.

 

The opening list price for the set of 11 reflects the value of the first 6 and is quite competitive with Replacements-dot-com’s price of $79.95 per stem and offerings of Josair goblets elsewhere.

 

Although we will wrap your goblets carefully, we do recommend that you purchase shipping insurance.
