This is an authentic JOSEPH ABBOUD Briefcase or Messenger Bag.  It is part of the JOE collection by Joseph Abboud. It is style number S97002, and there is decorative stitching on the front of the case. 
 
 This quality case is made of black leather and is a soft style of case. It is carried by the adjustable, attached shoulder strap.   
 
The front of the bag is secured by two magnets under the leather.
 
The main inside compartment is spacious and is divided into three sections.

The first section is open and could hold a laptop or notebook computer.

The second section is a zippered divider for papers and folders.

The back section has pockets and slots for small items, credit cards, and pens.

The outside back of the case has a zippered pocket along the length of it.  
 
The JOE Joseph Abboud name logo is embossed in the leather on one of the ends, and on a patch on the inside of the bag.
 
The outside of the bag measures approximately 12 inches in height and 15 1/2 inches across.  The width across the base or bottom of the case measures 5 inches.
 
This excellent quality Messenger Bag or Briefcase is new without the tags and has not been used. The leather smells really nice.
