Front page of the HAYOM (Today) newspaper dated June 7, 1967, 2nd day of the 6-Day War. Headline reads: All of Gaza is conquered. The Israel Defence Force is in control of the cities of the West Bank. Smaller headline reads: The Egyptian army in Sinai is starting to retreat towards the Suez Canal. This edition is 4 pages. Note also the cartoon in the upper left corner by Buchwald in which the Western Wall beckons an Israel soldier holding the Israeli flag. An historical item. This item will be shipped flatpacked.
