JUNEAU ALASKA Centennial licence plate celebrating the Alaska Gold Rush and an older (1950's) pennant from Juneau with a totem pole and Northern Lights and ice /snow pictured on it. Both display nicely. The plate is new - the pennant is old! Nice contrast. The plate is still in original plastic sleeve, no marks scratches or damage. The pennant is nice, the tip is thin where it was once pinned up and two other very tiny pin holes on yellow strip and at left little stain below and left of the J...otherwise complete no rips, tears and as I said, displays nicely and nostalgicly.

On May-07-08 at 20:41:08 PDT, seller added the following information: Just received this bit of information:
Some of the earliest souvenier plates DID have notches on the top.
Yours is definately a souvenier plate simply becausr Alaska did not have
any vanity gold rush plates. Gerry
So, it seems it is an early souvenir plate after all. Thanks. G
