JVC BR-7050UH VHS Duplicator

Up for auction is a JVC BR-7050UH VHS Duplicator. This unit is in good physical condition, with only a few minor scuffs on the casing. The top section is missing the two screws that hold the coverplate in place, but this would not affect the operation of the unit. This duplicator also includes the JVC SA-L30U autoloader, one for each tape bay.

When tested, this unit powered on without a problem. The loader on the top unit has a slight problem- it appears that the tray is off of it's track. This causes the unit to not feed a tape into the drive.  On closer inspection of the top tray, it seems that the rail is bent slightly up, causing the auto-loader unit to need to be tipped slightly upward to allow the tray to eject fully.  This deck does load and eject a tape properly so long as a slight upward tilt is maintained on the auto-loading unit (less than 5 degrees of tilt). The other two drives feed tapes in and eject them without a problem. I was not able to record with this unit because I am not quite sure how this is achieved, and also I do not have the remote control for this unit. Because of theses factors, this unit will be sold as-is. Please see the photos below for more details on this unit, and Happy Bidding!
