Jackson-Guldan --- Antique 4/4 Violin with Bow & Case. This violin is labeled internally as: " Antonius Stradivarius Cremonenfis --- Faciebat Anno 17 No. 5 1/2 --- Jackson-Guldan Violin Co. --- Columbus, Ohio " and the Case is labeled as: "Lifton"... The violin measures appox. 23 1/2" in overall length and the body measures appox. 13 7/8" in length. The violin neck is straight and still very well attached to the body. There are no cracks or damage to the wood of this violin. This violin looks as though it has seen very little use and I would rate it in near perfect condition. These Jackson-Guldan violins were made and imported from Germany during the 1920's to 1940's... The Glasser brand bow and fiber strands are also in great original condition. The "Lifton" case measures appox. 31" in length. The case is fully intact and still looks excellent, except for some wear to the leather handle. See all 12-pictures for further inspection of this violin and it's components. If you have any questions in regards to this item, please feel free to ask.
