Jacobsen 1900D Reel Mower Kubota Diesel 935 hrs

You are viewing a hard to find Jacobsen 1900 D Triplex Trim Mower. The 1900 D Triplex  is an economical choice for a wide variety of precision mowing applications. Considerable power is supplied by a 19  HP Kubota liquid-cooled diesel engine. The reels are 7 blade, the mower has 3 reels - 30" , t he overall cut is 85". With the manually variable reel speed control and a height of cut range from 3/8  up to 2 1/4", these mowers can meet the cutting requirements of any application. The mower is set to cut at about 1.5". The reels were just rebuilt and sharpened. Reel life is 95%. They are in excellant shape.

The engine is a Kubota  Diesel, D-662, 3 cyl. liquid cooled, 19 hp  engine. The unit is hydrostatic drive with transport speed up to 8.5 mph, mowing speed up to 5 mph. The Jacobsen  is all wheel - 3 wheel drive, Power Steering. The reels are power by hydraulic motors, no belts, and raised with a hydraulic piston. The machine has only 935 hrs. I was told this mower went into service in 2004.

The mower was used by a golf course as a trim mower. It was well maintained and serviced on a regular basis. The reels and rollers were just completly rebuilt and  sharpened, see pic. This mower is in excellant running condtion. The mower has been cleaned and detailed, the paint is orginal, no clear coat. The mower was always kept inside.

This Jacobsen reel mower is ready to go cut grass. The only thing I see  the paint has Scratches. Spots of rust no damage. The parking brake cable needs to be replaced, it is not working.

I belive this Jacobsen cost about $24,000.00 new. It is still made and sold today.

 It is simple to operate. All the controls are at your finger tips. This machine is fast and cuts lots of grass. Does not require lots of storage space.
