 47-0358-03 is the lid gasket for some models of Jacuzzi swimming pool pumps. Pump models using the 47-0358-03 O-ring are for the Jacuzzi's Magnum (models after 07/1989) pool pumps.

 

 

If a pump is sucking air, spitting air bubbles back to the pool thru the inlets, an air leak is causing the problem.
This can result in equipment damage, less chemical efficiency, less efficient filtration and other problems.
The first thing to check is the pump strainer O-ring (oring) for small crackage.
If the O-Ring is swollen or exhibits cracks, then the O-Ring should be replaced and can be the reason or part of the reason for air leakage.
