SUMMARY / DESCRIPTION: A small brown-and-white dog, his wavy sideburns streaming in the the breeze, meanders through the streets of Paris. Down from the hill section of Montmartre he goes, to a rooming house where he is welcomed and then scolded by a boy named Pierre. "Jaky, where have you been?" Pierre demands. "Why do you stay away so much?"
The next morning, when Jaky has made his way up again to Montmartre, to the cafe of Monsieur Boffu, the owner asks almost the same question: "Where have you been all morning, Dodo? And where did you spend the night?"
Obiviously Jaky (or Dodo) is leading a double life as he commutes between his two friends, alternately eating the scraps save for him by Pierre's grandmother and the gourmet meticulously prepared in Monsieur Biffu's cafe ....
And what happens when both "owners" decide independently to enter the same dog in a contest? ...

The little French dog appears to be a Petit Basset Griffon Vendeen.
