Despite its compact size the A 30 CEN features a two-way drive unit arrangement with two woofers and a tweeter. The supplied bracket makes it possible to place the speaker almost anywhere on a wall, on a shelf or on top of a TV.

The A 30 series of loudspeakers is a thorough update of the successful A 3_5 series. The major change is the introduction of an improved cabinet material. Thanks to a new specially developed high-density ABS plastic the new series is now twice as heavy as the previous models. It’s a change that has resulted in a clearly audible sonic improvement.

The compact, ultra-flat A 30 SUB Silver  features a 180 Watt amplifier with a built-in limiter, guaranteeing that no matter how loud you go you’ll never damage it. It has Auto on/off, continuously variable level plus phase and cut-off frequency controls, which make it extremely flexible and eminently suitable for partnering both front speakers in this series. Since bass frequencies are omni-directional the subwoofer can be placed on the floor, hanging on the wall, hidden underneath the sofa… pretty much wherever you want!

Spearheading the move towards true convergence products Jamo has developed the DMR 60, a new Digital Media Receiver. In the DMR 60 you’ll find incorporated a 4-in-1 flash card reader as well as a USB connection. So simply by putting a compatible flash card or memory stick in, it is possible to listen to music, enjoy pictures from a digital camera or watch a DivX movie. The DVD drive, meanwhile reads virtually any optical disc format on the market.

Look down the DMR 60’s massive feature list and you’ll find an ergonomic remote, Component video output with Progressive Scan (for smooth and well defined picture quality), an excellent Digital Amplifier (which keeps all signal processing in the digital domain, maintaining the absolute highest level of fidelity) and a Radio Tuner with 40 AM/FM presets and RDS support (where available).

The DMR 60 is equipped with a subwoofer output that allows enhanced bass reproduction from an active subwoofer. Two analogue inputs and two digital ones add further flexibility. Connecting a satellite receiver, set top box; VCR, game console or MP3 player to the DMR 60 gives a fabulous sound quality. Combine it with speakers from the A 30 and A 10 series you’ll experience a remarkably synergistic match when it comes to sound quality.
