Up for auction I have this lovely Japanese Moriage Satsuma Brown Elephant match holder/ashtray combo. It has a lovely flat brown background with a lovely satsuma design. Trimmed in gold. Has peach luster center in ashtray. One side holds cigs, the other matches with ashtray on top. There is wear to the gold on the box rims, and where the cigs would siton the top. Has some black dots in boxes and in ashtray. Needs cleaning. Measures 6"l x 4"w x 5"h. Marked on the bottom in red: M in wreath Handpainted Japan. This mark is from 1920-30's era. Would make a wonderful addition to anyones collection.

I never put in any of my auctions that anything comes from a smoke/free pet/free place as I buy my items from flea markets,auctions,estate sales etc and have no idea where they came from. So bid with this in mind. I don't always get a chance to wash every item. As always you should wash anything you buy before using.
