Offered for sale is a Beautiful Asian Star Wall Art Quilt called "Star of the Orient".

Quilt measures 50" wide by 50" long. It is machine made and machine quilted, and includes a sleeve on the back for hanging.

I designed "Star of the Orient" for the February 2004 edition of Quilter's World magazine. This is an original design and is the original quilt used for the magazine shoot (see picture above!).

The beautiful fabric in this quilt was all provided by Kona Bay fabric company. Note how gorgeous it looks hanging in a dining room above a lovely tea set.

This quilt is extensively free-motion machine quilted with swirling lines and outlining. Metallic thread was used for some of the quilting, giving it w wonderful sparkle.

The materials, time and workmanship in this piece place it's value in the $350-$400 range. You will not be disappointed in this quilt - it is beautiful and will enhance any room in which it hangs.
