Depression Era Elegant Glass was also made in the Depression era. (1929 to 1939) It came in a variety of beautiful colors and was sold in fine department and jewelry stores. Elegant pieces were more expensive due to hand finishing techniques. The more inexpensive Depression Glass was almost all machine made.
