Jefferson Glass Co. (Steubenville, Ohio and Follansbee, W. Va.) about 1906, small size (no feet), Jefferson's #135 pattern in green with opalescent green handle. 5 1/4" tall, 4 1/4" at basket rim. Touch of opalescence on the rim scallops of one side, and the looped handle is opalescent. Shown on page 38 in Heacock's volume 2 of Victorian Colored Pattern Glass, "Opalescent Glass" as 210. He gave the name Old Man Winter and explains in the description, "the production date of this pattern coincides with Byrd's discovery of the North Pole." Marks on the center base are light reflections only. Excellent condition with no chips. The right hand side of the handle must have gotten stressed in the making, as there are two short flow marks where the seam twists which caused a very small gap in the glass edge of the seam. Over a hundred years old, not modern glass! Priority shipping will be $6 in the US, plus insurance fee of $1.65. I accept PayPal, money order, or personal check in US dollars. Texas buyer please add 7% sales tax. No reserve.
