The Matzah Plate is generously sized, and measures approximately 9 inches square. It is ideally sized for displaying not only machine-made square Matzah / Matzoh, but round Shmurah Matzah.
The Matzah Plate has four (4) pedestal feet. The feet lift the plate some 1.5 inches off the table (at the highest point). This gives the Matzahs / Matzot / Matzos added prominence and dramatic impact and enables guests to get a better view of the symbolic Seder foods (and isn't that the proverbial reason for the season?).

These are one-of-a-kind pieces of artisan Judaica. No two are exactly alike. Because these items are hand made, there are always slight inconsistencies in fabrication process. As a result, there may be bubbles, nicks, or slight imperfections (just as one would find in hand-blown glass ware). These are a reflection of the handcrafted nature of these objects--and add character to the pieces--and should NOT be viewed as flaws or defects.

The creative and artistic inspiration behind Ronit Akavia Designs Ltd., Ronit Akavia has an established reputation as an artist / designer and has achieved significant commercial success both in Israel and abroad. Incorporating a wide range of media and materials, Ronit's talents include design, painting, sculpture, and home decor. Her works have been featured in exhibitions and trade shows throughout the world. She has designed, developed, and brought to market literally hundreds of products. Ronit's academic accomplishments include graduate and faculty member of the Textile Design department of the Shenkar College of Textile Technology and Fashion in Tel Aviv, as well as serving on the Faculty of Museum Studies for Haifa University.
